Towards the Unity of Classical Physics
نویسنده
چکیده
The unity of classical mechanics and electromagnetism is proposed to be established through putting both on equal footing. The special-relativistic equations of motion for the particles and fields, the Maxwell-Lorentz force, and the Yukawa potential are derived exploiting Newton’s and Euler’s (stationary-)state descriptions, Newton’s decomposition of forces into bodyand position-dependent factors, and Helmholtz’s analysis of the relationships between forces and energies. For instance, the magnetic MaxwellLorentz force is a special case of the Lipschitz force being a general class of forces that leave the kinetic energy constant. Adding this force to Newton’s force of gravity leads to self-standing fields representing the mediating agent of interaction sought by Newton. Thus, equal footing is realized through a foundation on common principles, but not through a reduction to mechanical models.

The Principle of Eurhythmy: A Key to the Unity of Physics
The unification of the basic physical laws, from classical physics, quantum physics to gravitic physics seems now possible. The key for this unity is the principle of eurhythmy, literally from the Greek, the principle of the most adequate path. It will be shown that Heron principle of minimum path, Fermat ́s principle of minimum time and de Broglie ́s guiding principle are no more than mere parti...

متن کاملIntroduction to Formal Graphs, a new approach to the classical formalism.
The creation of a purely graphic language called Formal Graphs for modelling many physical and physico-chemical systems is described. It represents an improvement over traditional equivalent circuits used for modelling systems made of individual components and over bond graphs used mainly in physico-chemistry. In contradistinction with these graphs, which represent graphically only mounting equ...
متن کاملHigh order perturbation study of the frustrated quantum Ising chain
In this paper, using high order perturbative series expansion method, the critical exponents of the order parameter and susceptibility in transition from ferromagnetic to disordered phases for 1D quantum Ising model in transverse field, with ferromagnetic nearest neighbor and anti-ferromagnetic next to nearest neighbor interactions, are calculated. It is found that for small value of the frustr...
متن کاملBose-Enhancement and Pauli-Blocking Effects in Transport Models
The ability of semi-classical transport models to correctly simulate Pauli blocking and Bose enhancement is discussed. In the context of simple quantum mechanical systems, it is shown that using (1 ± f) enhancements is inadequate to describe systems far from equilibrium. The relaxation of (1 + f) descriptions toward equilibrium is studied both in the context of simple models, including a hot pi...
